Long-Term Volunteer Positions
Our long-term volunteers take responsibility for ongoing tasks and/or more involved projects. The minimum commitment for these positions are 6 months or more.
Volunteer Coordinator:
The coordinator will lead our volunteer recruitment efforts, draft and post recruitment notices on various websites, serve as liaison between volunteers and staff, identify resources to locate and attract the very best volunteers, maintain an updated contact list, and ensure that our volunteers enjoy their experience and are appropriately recognized for their invaluable contribution to our organization.
Duration: Minimum 6 months, ideally 1 year
Monthly Commitment: 10-20 hours per month

Newsletter/Blog Editor:
Webmaster:
Our webmaster will maintain the site, ensure that links are functioning properly, and that all pages are up-to-date. The ideal webmaster will assist in creating a series of interactive pages for our new "members only" pages.
Duration: 1 year
Monthly Time Commitment: 20 hours for the first month or two, then 10 hours per month

Short-Term Volunteer Positions
Our short-term volunteers donate between 5-80 hours over a span of one to eight weeks and help us plan our annual fundraisers, special events, and fun contests.

Event Planners: Now through Mid-April
Courageous Truth Award - fundraiser to be held mid-April
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per week
Duration: 1-8 weeks, depending on your availability.

Silent Auction Planners: May-July
Heroes of Justice - fundraiser to be held third week of October
Heroes of Justice - fundraiser to be held third week of October
Co-Chair Position: Experienced silent auction planner to assume a lead role for the planning stages, preferably someone who can continue to assist at the actual event in October.

General Committee Positions: enthusiastic and creative volunteers who will acquire donated items for the auction sufficient to meet our fundraising goal, design promotional materials, and promote the event.
